Women's Ministry Event Fliers

These are some of the event fliers that I made for the Women's Ministry at High Point Church. The leaders wanted these to be as colorful and illustrative as possible with white borders to make them easy to print on the church printer (no bleed off the edge of the pages). All of the secondary fonts chosen are one of High Point Church's three primary fonts: CMG sans, Futura PT, and Bebas Neue.

This flier is warm and relaxed, similar to the point of this event. This event brough women together from the church to support a locally owned and operated business: Mercies Coffee, owned by a congregant of High Point Church. This font was chosen to match illustrations (also done by myself) of the coffee mugs & latte art.

The first event of the spring requires bright colorful graphics! There was more information that needed to be communicated about the swap on the front of this flier, which aided the feeling of abundance and opportunity. It was requested that the back of the flier be used to promote a bigger conference coming up in the summer.

A fun event flier which used negative space to imply the white of the armchair. It is also bright and colorful without being too saturated.

This was a great event, both to design for AND to attend! This was the first of a couple of events like this one, which kept the welcoming warmth of summer and fireside events, and the abundance and color of the harvest in the fall. The goal of this graphic was to give that vibe while giving information about the event.

"Comfort & Joy" is an annual event that the Women's ministry at High Point puts on that is meant to encourage fellowship and donation. This year, the donations were to go to the Extended Hands Food Pantry out of Lighthouse Church. The design was to be advent-themed and very feminine in design that allowed for more to be on both the front and the back of the flier.

For the 2024 spring Rooted Bible study flier, the prompt was to have a warm color palette to combat the cold weather of the season, and to mirror the gold imagery on the front of the study book. I created the symbol illustration on the top of the front of the flier to symbolize a woman's heart: delicate, strong, and beautiful. I chose the cursive font because it matched well with the illustration, theme, and paired well with the sans-serif font Futura PT, which is one of High Point Church's (the client's) primary fonts.

This is the flier for the second ever Swap Don't Shop event at High Point Church. The dress graphic is a collage of different prints and fabrics of dresses or other clothing that you might find at a swap. The prompt was to be spring-y and energetic. The main font is a classy serif with sharp edges that reflect the dividing lines of the collage graphic.
